FROM THE RETRO TREASURE TROVE!

Ladies and Gentlemen, on occasion we will receive in stock, or part with, some special items that have been vaulted away for a period of time. With such a passion for Retro Treasures ourselves, we hope you enjoy checking out The Trove and hopefully you will strike gold!
This particular item is a WWF/WWE wrestling hand-signed promotional promo photo print of 'The Nation of Domination' hand-signed by 'The Rock' Dwayne Johnson.
This autograph was obtained in 1997 when 'The Rock' made an appearance at an official WWF meet and greet event. Having acquired this in 1999 upon the launch of eBay.co.uk (one of the first items we ever obtained!) from the store who hosted the signing, we were informed that a batch of these Nation Of Domination 8"x10"s were brought to the store by the WWF representative, however they are on a different paper to the usual shiny gloss type feel of WWF promos of their day. This is a more 'blotto' style paper, although the front certainly has a nice shiny finish to it.
The promo is not a reprint of an original, and you can certainly tell that by the visualisation of the writing, logos and image itself - the image was taken from the original file, just printed on different paper for this particular appearance.
We can certainly validate from experience that on occasion it has been known for WWE to print on random quality paper, especially if the signing is fast approaching.
